About

I’m a management consultant with an insatiable appetite for yarn. Originally learning “right-handed” knitting at the age of 8 from my “left-handed” grandmother, I’ve revived my knitting during major milestones (university, marriage, university, child, business startup).  Knitting has become a “creative peace” in a busy world.

I love the process of creating something with sticks & string :)  I usually have up to a dozen projects on the go at anytime! Some non-knitters think that is a problem, so in order to combat that, I've been a sample knitter for a yarn shop back in my early 20s, I've done commissioned knitting for non-knitters, and I've done consignment knits to fill out the inventory at a newly opened fibre shop.

In addition, I’ve taught knitting at elementary schools, local Parks & Recreation and in private classes.

My secret plan is to create more knitters & justify my yarn shopping…
